District Sales Manager, Florida

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a District Sales Manager to lead a clinical sales team across Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Southern Georgia. The role involves developing district strategy for allergy diagnostics, managing sales staff, and driving growth with reference labs and health systems in the immunodiagnostics division.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage team of Clinical Sales Specialists to drive allergy testing growth and utilization
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing sales staff within the district
- Develop district strategy and execute initiatives to increase lab utilization and achieve growth targets
- Build and maintain relationships with reference labs, health systems, and clinical decision-makers
- Track sales forecasting, pipeline management, and team performance using CRM systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare-related field
- 7+ years healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or diagnostic sales experience
- 3+ years successful people leadership and team management experience
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales forecasting tools
- Ability to travel 60-80% throughout assigned territory
- Strong analytical and strategic business planning capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
