Purchasing Buyer

What You’ll Do Support the Capex Procurement Team in coordinating purchasing activities for capital projects Partner with Engineering, end users, and project stakeholders to confirm requirements, specifications, and timelines Assist with purchase order issues, documentation updates, and system accuracy Manage and resolve open or blocked invoices Update CAPEX documentation that includes the PSR, any project or equipment file and any procurement records Monitor order status, delivery timelines, and progress updates for project‑related purchases Coordinate with internal teams to ensure orders align with project schedules and installation or service plans Support compliance with procurement policies, CAPEX governance, and audit requirements Provide reporting support on CAPEX activity, open POs, delivery status Assist with vendor account creation and updates Provide non‑standard purchasing support for Corporate IT, Mobile Equipment, Shears & Benders, and End of Life Buyout processes What You’ll Need Experience in procurement, purchasing, or capital project support Strong communication skills across Engineering, Procurement, Finance/AP, and site teams Proficiency with ERP System, SAP Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities CMC is committed to providing equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, physical or mental disability, national origin, citizenship, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, or other status protected by federal, state or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
