Clinic Receptionist and Medical Assistant

Primary duties:
Welcome patients warmly and help them feel comfortable.
Get patients registered and schedule their appointments in our electronic health record (EHR).
Answer phone calls, check patients in and keep schedules running smoothly.
Stay on top of faxes, bills and inventory so nothing falls through the cracks.
Secondary duties:
Take vitals, assist with minor procedures, and keep exam rooms cleaned and ready.
Help with blood draws, dressing changes, and sterilizing instruments.
Keep records accurate and confidential while ensuring patients feel cared for every step of the way.
Core Competencies
Friendly, professional and caring attitude.
Sharp eye for details and documenting with accuracy.
Ability to keep private and protected information safe and confidential.
Great communicator, team player and problem solver.
Bonus points if you speak Spanish!
Required:
Certified Medical Assistant (Washington State).
BLS certified (or willing to get certified within 3 months).
