Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for an exciting 13-week travel assignment at a premier Level I Trauma Center in Kansas City, MO. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for high-acuity surgical care, this is the perfect contract for you!

Facility Details & Unit Highlights:

• Facility: Research Medical Center
• Unit: Operating Room (18 OR suites)
• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
• Charting System: Meditech
• Floating: Not applicable to the OR unit!

Procedures Performed:

You will be assisting with a diverse case mix, including:

• Trauma & Hearts
• Orthopedics & Neurosurgery
• Urology & GYN
• Robotics (DaVinci and Mako)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ years of recent OR experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong proficiency in the procedures listed above (Trauma and Robotics experience is a major plus).
• Active Missouri or Compact RN License.
• Current BLS certification.
