Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a CommonSpirit Family Nurse Practitioner with Integrative Medicine Associates on Signal Mountain, TN, you will provide comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages. This includes preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and referring patients to specialists when necessary, essentially acting as the primary healthcare provider for individuals and families across the lifespan.

Every day, you will apply your comprehensive expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of health conditions across various age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics. This involves patient consultations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and focusing on preventive care and health education, all within a collaborative healthcare team.

To be successful in your role, you will meticulously provide direct patient care, utilizing your specialized training and skills to assess, diagnose, and manage a diverse patient population within family medicine, under physician supervision. You will demonstrate exceptional clinical proficiency and a compassionate approach, ensuring comprehensive care coordination and optimal patient outcomes within your scope of practice.

• Obtain medical histories when necessary.

• Perform physical exams (within established protocol).

• Diagnose, treat and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines). Order diagnostic test.

• Prescribe or recommend medications for prescription for medications and treatment (within protocol guidelines).

• Provide preventive health screenings and immunizations for children and adults.

• Promote positive lifestyle habits to all patients through education and counseling.

We are offering a competitive base salary, a generous CME allowance that includes 40 hours of time away, sign-on bonus, student loan assistance, and relocation assistance for new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Active or eligible License and DEA in the state of Tennessee

• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification

Preferred

• 1-3 years previous experience (or equivalent experience) as an Advanced Practice Provider in an acute or primary care setting

Pay Range

$103,958.40 - $133,016.00 /year
