2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Lead in the Jacksonville, Tx area. If you have a background in manufacturing don't let this opportunity pass you by. The work schedule: Monday -Friday. 2nd Shift 3:50pm - 12:10am Pay: $17.50

Job Purpose: To lead the shift and all direct staff. To ensure the smooth running of the production process. To ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications. Target and deadlines are met to achieve the orders. To ensure that all direct staff comply with all the company's procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that sufficient support exists for providing breaks
• Impart and/or obtain information between shifts to maintain consistency and quality levels
• The Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining good morale of the shift. You should act as a role model for all personnel upholding a positive attitude toward production and quality issues as well as any personality conflicts that may arise.
• Assigning manpower to machines and other tasks.
• Promptly answer and resolve alarm bells
• Use your best knowledge and expertise to resolve production problems
• Know when to shut down a machine or where to call for help.

Specific Job Functions:

• Maintain proper material at each machine for continuous production.
• Notify the quality department of any quality concerns.
• Provide on-going training to all production personnel.
• Display professional conduct, treat fellow employees with respect and maintain good morale of the shift.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Work Experience/Training: Minimum 3 years working in a high mass volume manufacturing environment as a Shift Supervisor, Operator, Mold Tech, Floor Man, Process Tech, or within an equivalent capacity. Ideally from a plastics background. Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations. Excellent attention to detail for quality assurance purposes. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
