Finance Attorney

A leading full-service law firm is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Ohio office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated financing transactions for leading companies, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, borrowers, and other sophisticated market participants.

The role will involve significant exposure to a broad range of secured and unsecured lending transactions, acquisition financings, leveraged finance, asset-based lending, syndicated credit facilities, private credit transactions, refinancings, and other complex commercial financing matters.

Job Requirements: 3-6 years of finance or banking experience at a leading law firm or sophisticated transactional practice. Meaningful experience representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, or other sophisticated clients in financing transactions. Experience with secured and unsecured lending, syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financing, leveraged finance, asset-based lending, private credit, refinancings, or other commercial finance transactions. Strong understanding of credit agreements, security documents, guarantees, intercreditor arrangements, and related financing documentation. Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated loan and financing documents. Ability to manage substantial transaction workstreams with increasing autonomy.
