Title Dental hygienist Job Description Perform thorough dental prophylaxis and periodontal scaling and root planing. Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including charting and periodontal probing. Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices and preventative measures. Take and develop dental radiographs in accordance with safety standards. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Document all treatments and patient interactions accurately in dental software. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
