Day Shift Forklift Operator

This role operates sit-down propane forklifts in a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing warehouse.

You will spend most of your shift on a forklift, working in narrow racking with tight clearances, loading and unloading trucks, handling materials, and performing shipping and receiving tasks while occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down propane forklifts safely and efficiently throughout the shift, including in narrow aisles with tight clearances.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring products and materials move accurately and safely between shipping, receiving, and storage areas.
• Ensure all packaged materials are correctly labeled and stored in the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Stage loads for trucks scheduled for the next morning to support on-time shipping and smooth operations.
• Communicate regularly with the shipping team and leadership to stay updated on incoming and outgoing trucks and changing priorities.
• Understand and follow established shipping and receiving procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy.
• Complete accurate, legible paperwork and documentation for all shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts in the finished goods warehouse and help identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Use RF scanners and other warehouse equipment to track inventory and material movement as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area by following housekeeping standards and cleaning schedules.

Work Environment

This position is based in a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing warehouse. The facility uses sit-down propane forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and standard material handling equipment. You will spend most of your shift operating a forklift in narrow aisles and working around racking with tight clearances, loading and unloading trucks, and moving materials throughout the finished goods warehouse. The work area is kept clean and organized, and you can expect a structured, process-driven environment with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and consistent warehouse practices.

This is a Permanent position based out of Little Falls, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
