- # Clinical Associate, 24 hours/week, night shift - B2Applylocations: Winchester Hospitaltime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR92304**When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.****Job Description:***Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.***Schedule: 24 hours/week, night shift, 2, 12 hour shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations**Working under the direction of a nurse, the Clinical Associate contributes to the Hospital’s mission by performing basic procedures necessary to provide patients’ care, comfort, and safety. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the quality of care and patient satisfaction by providing for their physical and emotional needs.As a Clinical Associate at Winchester Hospital, you will be responsible (but not limited to) for the following:* Assisting with activities of daily living* Repositioning and ambulating patients* Making an occupied and unoccupied bed* Assisting in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment* Collecting, labeling and transporting specimens* Retrieving and signing out blood products* Accurately performs point of care testing* Obtains vital signs and weights* Maintains accurate intake and output measurements* Removes Foley catheters and saline locksEducation Required: High school diploma/equivalent is strongly preferredCertifications**:** BLS – Basic Life SupportMust have/be one of the following:* Certified Nursing Assistant* Nursing Student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation* Three months of clinical care experience* Successful completion of the Winchester Hospital: Clinical Associate Training Program (CATP)Other Skills/Knowledge:Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital teamPreferred: Basic computer skills*Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is an integrated health system dedicated to creating healthier communities — one person at a time — through seamless care and ground-breaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity.**Founded in 2019, our system brings together academic medical centers and teaching hospitals, community and specialty hospitals, primary and specialty care, behavioral health and home care services, and more than 5,900 physicians and 36,000 employees to care for more than 1.7 million patients in communities across Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
