Registered Nurse - Oncology

Role Overview: Provide comprehensive nursing care in both office and patient care areas, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control policies, including the use of PPE. Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, requiring frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Serve patients of all age groups and ensure HIPAA compliance with Level 3 access to non-restricted patient information. Qualifications: Must have a nursing degree from an accredited school and a current NYS RN license. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, prior clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care, and relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC. Professional nursing certifications are advantageous. Work Environment: Perform duties in a climate-controlled setting with exposure to cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
