divh2Manager Of Retail Pharmacy/h2pPharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Healths pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers./ppRetail Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring the correct and safe dispensing of prescription medications to the general public, in accordance with legal, ethical and professional guidelines; may also consult with and advise patients and physicians regarding prescribed and over-the-counter medications./ppJob Summary/ppThis position is located at Daves Pharmacy in Marysville, OH/ppHours: Monday - Friday 9:00am-6:30PM, Saturday 9:00AM - 2:00PM/ppThe Manager of Retail Pharmacy is responsible for managing a Cardinal Health pharmacy. Some of the roles include delivering medication and pharmaceutical care to its community such as, immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management./ppResponsibilities/pulliCollaborate with administrative and physician leadership within partnered health centers to implement pharmacist driven clinical and dispensing services to the patients served./liliImplement best practices and ensure department compliance./liliEnsure adequate staffing is present to fulfill the needs of the pharmacy./liliMaintain accurate records of all prescription medication received and dispensed./liliEnsure policies are in place regarding accurate dispensing and labeling of prescriptions and those policies are followed./liliEnsure that security of the prescription area and its contents are maintained at all times, including the restriction of persons unauthorized by the pharmacist on duty from being present in the prescription area while the pharmacist is temporarily absent but within the premises and the reporting of any thefts and/or diversions of controlled substances are reported upon discovery to the Office of Drug Control and the Drug Enforcement Administration pursuant to Federal and State requirements./liliMaintain the prescription area in an orderly and sanitary manner; as well as the pharmacy and all pharmacy personnel comply with all Federal and State statutes, rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy./li/ulpWhat is expected of you and others at this level/pulliCoordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff/liliAdministers and exercises policies and procedures/liliEnsures employees operate within guidelines/liliDecisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers/liliFrequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels/liliInteractions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliBachelors degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred/lili2 years pharmacy management experience, 3-5 years related pharmacy experience, preferred/liliPharmacist registration in the state where the position is located/liliAbility to work a flexible schedule/liliInterpersonal relations and customer service skills/liliMultitasking and time management skills/liliMay require vendor credentialling/li/ulpAnticipated salary range: $111,500- $159,400/ppBonus eligible: Yes/ppBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being./pulliMedical, dental and vision coverage/liliPaid time off plan/liliHealth savings account (HSA)/lili401k savings plan/liliAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPay/liliFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)/liliShort- and long-term disability coverage/liliWork-Life resources/liliPaid parental leave/liliHealthy lifestyle programs/li/ulpApplication window anticipated to close: 05/16/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible./ppThe salary range listed is an estimate.
