Your Role in the Healing Process We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of a bustling imaging team. Your expertise with advanced ultrasound technologies will not only yield high-quality images but also engage you in a close-knit community of medical professionals dedicated to patient well-being. Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conduct a variety of imaging procedures, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts assessments to aid in diagnostic evaluations.
- Ensure that every patient feels comfortable and informed during procedures, embracing a patient-centered approach.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical teams to produce exceptional, precise diagnostic images.
- Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, quickly addressing any operational issues.
- Systematically document imaging procedures and maintain comprehensive electronic health records.
- Continuously update your knowledge of the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and qualitative practices.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related specialist field.
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and thorough patient positioning knowledge.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Adept at both independent work and collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting.
