Job Title: LPN/LVN – Long-Term Care
Location: Oswego, NY
Type: Contract (8 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Days | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | 3 Days/Week | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend
Pay: $900 - $1,300/week (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced LPN/LVN to provide compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents, including those with dementia and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to long-term care residents.
Administer medications and treatments.
Monitor resident conditions and report changes.
Perform nursing assessments and assist with care plans.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and other healthcare staff.
Assist residents with activities of daily living.
Follow infection-control and medication-safety procedures.
Provide supportive and end-of-life care as needed.
Maintain resident safety and comfort.
Float to other units or areas as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Active New York State LPN/LVN license.
Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience.
Current BLS certification.
Long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home experience preferred.
Dementia care experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and medication-administration skills.
Must be willing to float to other units/areas as needed.
Must be available every other weekend.
Must be able to work either scheduled shift.
