Avantara Watertown is looking to invest in a Nurse Manager RN or LPN with prior management responsibilities and a long term care experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse RN license, or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN license;

• C.P.R. Certification;

• Three (3) years experience as a nurse in a skilled nursing or long term care facility is preferred;

• Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit.

As an Nurse Manager RN or LPN , you are instrumental in managing all of the operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Watertown by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.
