NEST Referral Coordinator

Location Medical Center - Fort Worth Department Cln-NICU Follow Up Shift First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours 40 Summary The Referral Coordinator is a full-time position responsible for managing and coordinating new patient referrals. This may include but is not limited to coordination of clinical review, communication with referring provider (clinic), coordination of referrals such as rehab, audiology, clinical therapy and specialists as well as insurance eligibility verification. Education & Experience High School graduate or equivalent. At least two years' experience in a medical office. Pediatric experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Exhibits good interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of insurance plans and medical terminology. Maturity to withstand pressure that may arise in relation to public and provider. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification NRCMA (Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant) required.
