- Consistent daytime schedule
- Outpatient clinic setting focused on continuity of care
- Perform patient assessment, intake, and clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide telephone triage and respond to patient questions regarding symptoms, medications, and treatment plans
- Coordinate care for cardiac and vascular patients, including diagnostic testing, referrals, follow-up appointments, and procedure preparation
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, lifestyle modifications, treatment plans, and post-procedure care
- Assist providers with in-office procedures, examinations, and patient care needs
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes or concerns to providers appropriately
- Review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results and facilitate follow-up as directed by providers
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments in accordance with provider orders and organizational policies
- Support chronic disease management and preventive care initiatives for cardiovascular patient populations
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow and exceptional patient experience
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level.
- 6 months of nursing experience. Strongly preferred: Cardiology and Electrophysiology RN experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
