Number of Beds - 30
Number of Staff - 85
Type of staff on Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, number of RNs varies based on census, PCT varies based on census.
Type of staff on Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, number of RNs varies based on census, PCT varies based on census.
Patient Ratios: 2:1 for ICU, 4:1 for PCU.
Type of Equipment: Critical Care Equipment, Burn ICU and Trauma ICU.
Technology: EMR - Meditech.
Typical Hiring Profile:
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Candidates without the following skills will not be considered for the role: Trauma, Burn, Surgical ICU experience, Communication and Critical Thinking Skills.
Preferred or nice to have skills: Candidates with the following skills will be considered first: BSN, CCRN.
Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Wound care, codes, EVDs, MTP.
Best Personality Fit: Team-based, not afraid to ask questions, offers to help others.
Floating Areas: MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU or any PCU unit.
Dress Code: Scrub Color - Royal Blue.
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Weekends and on-call: 2 weekends a pay period requirement.
