Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, especially generators, in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering safe, efficient electrical systems, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair generators in residential settings.
- Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and power tools to complete installations efficiently.
- Test electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and ensure all installations meet code requirements.
- Demonstrate handyman skills for minor repairs or adjustments on-site as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in residential industrial settings.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC standards for safe electrical installations.
- Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment safely.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow technical instructions precisely.
