*POSITION SUMMARY*

McCarthy Building Companies is looking for skilled Interior Carpentersfor an exciting project in Atlanta, GA.In this role, you will install/set up wall protection, doors, drywall, framing, wall accessories, ICRA, hardware, etc. The ideal candidate has 4 years minimum of proven experience as an interior carpenter in large construction sites and possess excellent carpentry skills. *RESPONSIBILITIES*

* Complete Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs daily
* Plan and execute work with minimum supervision
* Recognize hazards and danger zones
* Actively participate in demo activities
* Properly read and interpret blueprints
* Install wall protection
* Properly set up ICRA partitions (installation, inspection, and maintenance)
* Install wall accessories
* Wall framing and drywall installation
* Door and door hardware installation
* Safely and properly set door frames
* Assist with acoustic ceiling installation
* Assist with removable partition installation
* Assist other trades when necessary

*QUALIFICATIONS*

* Prior experience with self-perform interior work (installing doors, accessories, hardware, wall protection, drywall, framing, etc.) in large commercial projects
* Identify and properly use materials, hand, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)
* Understand construction terminology and basic math
* Understand level, plumb, square, area, and volume concepts
* Basic lay out experience (transfer levels, off sets, set points etc.)
* Proven commitment to Safety
* Work in an organized manner
* Able to work night shifts when needed
* Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions
* Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
* Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
* Abilityto performheavy lifting/pushing/pulling of materialweighing 50 pounds
* Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
* Minimum age 18+
* Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
