Eggslut is hiring! We're growing our team and are looking for a full-time Store Manager for our location at Venice Beach.

OBJECTIVE

The Manager is responsible for maintaining the overall quality of the restaurant. From food standards to customer service, they are responsible for all processes and procedures for Eggslut. The Manager must communicate with ownership and supporting management as needed. In order to maintain job status, the Manager must present full schedule availability. Overall, their job is to be the point person of the restaurant and to help ensure that the location is maintaining standards and working properly for efficient service.

REPORTS TO: Ownership, Upper Management

DIRECT REPORTS: All Staff

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt; Hourly

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to speak, see, hear, read, and write - mobility and manual dexterity
• The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction
• The ability to bend, crouch, stand, and perform movement for up to 8-10 hours a day
• The ability to lift heavy items (20+ lbs)
• The ability to be exposed to wet floors, noise, and temperature extremes
• The ability to perform in a fast paced, busy environment with attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have valid U.S. identification/work authorization (required)
• ServSafe Manager certified (or other Food Handler certification)
• Supervision experience; 3+ years Quick Service experience a plus
• Right attitude necessary to work in fast-paced environment with others
• Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed
• Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills
• Demonstrate commitment to excellent guest service

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all staff within the location; keep order and lead by example and ensure that all staff is working efficiently
• Ensure (along w/ supervising staff) that daily responsibilities are completed and expectations are met
• Manage and follow up on store training & development
• Maintain operational procedures, policies and standards (document/communicate issues and hold staff accountable)
• Work to maintain a profitable operation by managing controllable costs (labor and cost of goods)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create work schedules and assist with payroll (verify clock-in/out times and adjusting/clarifying discrepancies every pay period)
• Oversee and assist orders for paper goods, produce, meat, bread, dairy and any other necessary items (adjust pars for all orders as needed while managing proper inventory)
• Manage cash handling & POS systems (noting discrepancies/managing discounts and refunds/bank deposits/petty cash, etc.)
• Hire and discharge staff (post ads, conduct interviews, train, handle terminations, etc.)
• When needed, display ability to efficiently work all designated stations and/or delegate the work as stated in the Station Handbook
• Assist in maintenance issues (reaching out/following up with repairs, etc.)
• Perform administrative work (send emails, verify scan and upload invoices, etc.)
• Assure the highest standards for product quality, standard adherence and unit performance are upheld (maintaining proper food handling and presentation, customer satisfaction, reasonable ticket times)
• Maintain high guest satisfaction and manage customer complaints (address mistakes, emphasize quality of service for guest retention)
• Perform any other duties as needed
