Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a Med Surg unit. This is a 13-week contract position, offering a daytime schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
• Assist with assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid LVN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical unit.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is required.

This position is based in a dynamic healthcare facility in City, State.

The anticipated contract duration is 13 weeks.
