Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Move One Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient.
• Implementing a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance recovery and improve physical performance.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes and self-management strategies.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Demonstrating outstanding customer service and fostering a positive environment for patients.
• Engaging in staff management tasks, contributing to cost management, and participating in professional development activities.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff as needed, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for the Physical Therapist role at Move One Physical Therapy, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification by the time of hire.
