Job Description Technical Product Managers at U.S. Bank oversee the strategic product management for an assigned technical product line(s) in support of the Enterprise organization’s goals and market needs. Engages with key stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize features; ensures delivery of marketable capabilities for all U.S. Bank engineering teams while collaborating with agile teams. As a Technical Product Manager, you will: Align the strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape outcome-based product roadmap, product risk, investment areas and success measures. Drive product development with ownership of backlog and actively engage cross-functional stakeholders to enable faster speed to market. Manage across Enterprise users to define and deliver product performance goals (e.g., outcomes, customer experience, etc.). Own all engagement for the assigned technical portfolio regarding the SDLC, including adoption and collaboration. Develop, analyze, monitor, and report on performance metrics from internal and external sources to identify key trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Use performance metrics to drive progress on identified strategies and initiatives. Leverage OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to drive roadmap priorities. Basic Qualifications Technical Product Management experience Preferred Skills/Experience Expertise on the interdependencies among product model system elements that affect performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results using business metrics, KPIs, design systems, service blueprints, and reusability. Technical know-how to understand the product technical architecture and the economics of technical investments. Deep understanding of target customer through internal/external research (e.g., personas, story maps, product chartering/mapping). Strong collaboration with software engineers to execute product vision and roadmap. Preferred skills: product strategy, vision and planning, product discovery, product development, agile ways of working, enterprise technical alignment and performance measurement and optimization. Role Context This is a critical, strategic technical product management role that will be integral to Enterprise Technology’s broader Developer Productivity initiative, a key part of the Enterprise strategy. The selected candidate will help shape the Engineering experience and how we leverage an AI-powered Software Development Lifecycle. Location & Schedule This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week. The actual range may differ based on location.
