Responsibilities include leading month-end close, financial reporting, and core accounting operations, driving public-company readiness, and owning the transition to a new financial system. The role also involves building scalable accounting processes, supporting M&A integration, and partnering with senior leadership to present to the Board of Directors. Applicants for the VP of Finance/CFO role at the company should have a strong background in public company accounting, with hands-on experience in NetSuite and a proven track record in complex technical accounting. A background in mining, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industries is preferred. The position offers the opportunity for meaningful ownership and influence, including the authority to build and hire a finance team.
