Assistant Boys Golf Coach2026-2027 School Year Qualifications:Valid Coaching LicenseKnowledge and background in the assigned sportJob Goal:Carry out the aims and objectives of the sport program as outlined by the head coach. Instruct athletes in the fundamentals, strategies and physical training to realize a degree of individual and team success. Provide athletes with instruction that leads to the formulation of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and self- confidence.Performance Duties:Have a thorough knowledge of all athletic policies approved by the South Central Calhoun Board of Education and be responsible for their implementation.Implement the existing school district, state and conference regulations consistently.Understand the proper administrative line of command and refer all student and parent requests or grievances through proper channels. Be aware and attend all public, staff or departmental meetings that require attendance.Maintain discipline and work to increase morale and cooperation within the school sports program.Monitor equipment rooms and coaches office, and authorize who may enterSupervise athletes so that they are only in authorized areas of the building at the appropriate times.Examine locker rooms and buses before and after practices and games, checking on general cleanliness of the facility and vehicleBe responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of specific sport equipment.Secure all doors, lights, windows and locks before leaving the building, if custodians are not on duty.The South Central Calhoun CSD offers career and technical programs in the following service areas: Ag Education, Computer Science, Business, Auto Tech., Health Occupations, FCS.It is the policy of the South Central Calhoun Community School District not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, creed, age (for employment), marital status (for programs), sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status (for programs) in its educational programs and its employment practices.There is a grievance procedure for processing complaints of discrimination.
