Hvac Installation Technician

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, experienced, and licensed HVAC installation technician to join our company. We are a family owned, family operated, and family oriented company that thrives on mutually beneficial relationships. You'll be responsible for visiting homes and businesses, assessing blueprints, codes, and manuals to install a variety of HVAC equipment. You’ll be asked to install equipment for heating, cooling, indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems. Responsibilities: • Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems • Lay out and connect electrical wiring using hand tools according to the wiring diagram • Maintain records of completed projects and parts used • Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures • Advise clients on how to properly maintain their new equipment • Work outside, on rooftops, in crawlspaces, and in attics throughout the year • Duct / Fitting fabrication and assembly as required • Brazing, soldering, and welding required • Perform/assist with service repair work as needed Qualifications: • Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections • Candidate is comfortable working in attics and crawl spaces • We require candidates to have a high school diploma or GED • Earned HVAC school degree and 2+ years experience working in the field as an installer • Applicant must have all required local and state appliance HVAC tech licenses • Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills • Candidate must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certificate • Clean driving and criminal records as required by insurance carriers • Valid driver's license Compensation: 20 - 50 hourly
