Job Description PRN position for GI to assist with hospital or clinic coverage during the week or on the weekends. Accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsible for collecting and analyzing client health data, identifying appropriate expected outcomes, developing and implementing a plan of care, providing comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management, providing consultation to influence plan of care for clients, enhancing the abilities of others and effecting change in the system, using prescriptive authority, procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations, evaluating client progress in attaining expected outcomes, conducting nursing research, providing education to patients, families and nursing staff, and case managing high-risk patients. See department policy regarding scheduling requirements.
