Promptly greet and seat guests at clean, sanitary "guest ready" tables Help guests make the right menu choices Take food and beverage orders accurately Enter orders into our POS system terminals or tablets Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely fashion Follow server banking procedures for processing payments Clear, clean, and reset tables and maintain the overall appearance of the restaurant Stock and rotate supplies in service areas Comply with all safety and sanitation standards Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards Complete the IHOP Academy Training program Who qualifies for this job? To be successful in this role, you should: Be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members Understand our systems, safety standards, and operating procedures Handle money transactions accurately and responsibly Be a multi-tasker and maintain service standards Solve basic service issues with patience and professionalism Be flexible and available to work holidays and weekends Be a team player and contribute to the success of the team Thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment What physically must you be able to do?
