Technician

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Tech to maintain and upkeep carpet and hard surface floors.

Pay: $23.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

1. Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
2. Strip, wax and seal floor
3. Carpet Cleaning
4. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
5. Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
6. Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
7. Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
8. Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
9. Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
10. Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
11. Wash and replace blinds
12. Gather and empty trash
13. Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
14. Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
15. Service, clean, and supply restrooms

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable)
• Must have side by side machine experience or buffer ride on
• Must have previous Floor care experience
• Must have Valid Driver License and a clean driving record
• Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Preferred:• Customer service experience • 1 year of similar work experience
