Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Neuro/Ortho - TexasJob Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro/Ortho – Texas Start Date: September 21, 2026 Location: Corpus Christi, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day or Night shift available; 6:1 patient ratio (occasionally 5:1); 25-bed Neuro/Ortho unit with dedicated charge nurse, unit coordinator, and PCT support Highlights: Specialized Neuro/Ortho unit caring for diverse patient populations requiring skilled post-surgical and medical management Modern equipment including Baxter IV Pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps Meditech EMR system utilized throughout the facility Opportunity to work with weight-based heparin drips, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and chest tube management Collaborative team environment with 40 experienced staff members Professional dress code: Royal blue scrubs Requirements: Current RN license in good standing BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required General med/surg competencies required Meditech EMR experience preferred Telemetry experience preferred Experience managing chest tubes, cardiac drips, and weight-based heparin drips preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized Neuro/Ortho environment where you'll develop advanced clinical skills while caring for patients requiring complex post-operative and medical management.
