Commercial Banking Associate

A respected regional bank with a strong presence throughout the Southeast is seeking a Commercial Banking Associate to join its team. The selected candidate will work closely with an experienced lender, gaining hands‑on exposure to commercial lending, credit analysis, business development, and client relationship management. Responsibilities Support a senior commercial banker in developing and managing client relationships Assist with commercial loan requests, including gathering financial information and supporting credit analysis Help identify opportunities for commercial loans, deposit accounts, and other banking services Participate in client meetings, networking events, and community outreach activities Build and maintain relationships with business owners and community leaders Monitor assigned client relationships and assist with ongoing portfolio management Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and local economic conditions Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service Represent the bank through involvement in professional, civic, and community organizations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred Open to recent graduates and candidates with 2–4 years of professional experience Banking, finance, credit, lending, accounting, or client-facing sales experience is a plus Strong communication, relationship‑building, and networking skills Ability to analyze information and learn financial and credit concepts Professional, energetic, and motivated with a desire to grow within the banking industry Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and a strong work ethic Why Consider This Opportunity?
