Certified Nursing Assistant – Long Term Care

Schedule

37.5 hours per week, including meal breaks.

Assignment Details

Healthcare facility setting.

Requirements

• Current NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA or RQI)
• One (1) year of previous long-term care or nursing assistant experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care as per the plan of care.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and positioning.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, responding promptly to call lights and alarms.
• Support residents' nutritional needs in accordance with dietary preferences and requirements.
• Facilitate rehabilitative care, including range of motion exercises and assistance with mobility.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the supervising nurse.
