Machine Operator
WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Machine Operators to operate thermoforming and/or injection molding machines, trim parts, and package all parts according to company quality standards.
This is a great opportunity to join the WeatherTech Direct team!
As a Machine Operator, you will:
- Operate or assist with the operation of machinery and equipment utilized in the production process
- Use basic hand and cutting tools, including but not limited to hand trimming of various parts.
- Fill out all required paperwork
- Lift and transfer raw material, finished product, and packed materials from conveyors and tables
- Assemble parts, place labels on products, and package products
- Ensure all quality standards are met
- Train new and existing team members on different functions of the production area to ensure all are able to perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity
- Comply with all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualified Candidates will:
- Have at least 1 year of prior experience in the manufacturing environment
- Have a high degree of attention to prevent accidents and injuries
- Be able to stand for the duration of the assigned shift
- Be a team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic
- Be dependable, with an excellent attendance record
- Have the ability to read and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English
- Be authorized to work in the United States
