Bar Admission: Florida Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired Job Description: A downtown Jacksonville law firm is seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance defense practice. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated attorney or recent law graduate with a strong interest in insurance defense litigation, particularly bodily injury and automobile matters. The firm is seeking a candidate who is eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to gain hands‑on litigation experience working alongside experienced attorneys in a fast‑paced practice. Key Responsibilities Advocate on behalf of clients in insurance defense matters Assist with the management of bodily injury and automobile defense cases Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of litigation issues Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery, correspondence, and proposed orders Assist senior attorneys with hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation Collaborate with attorneys and staff to achieve successful client outcomes Manage deadlines and prioritize assignments in a high‑volume litigation environment Qualifications Active membership in the Florida Bar or scheduled to take the July 2026 Florida Bar Exam Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced litigation setting Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Collaborative, proactive, and solution‑oriented mindset Ability to manage competing priorities effectively #J-18808-Ljbffr
