We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our Front Desk team and help create an exceptional experience for every patient, every visit. What You'll Do As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients and play an essential role in ensuring each visit runs smoothly. Responsibilities include: Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion. Schedule new and established patient appointments while optimizing provider schedules. Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information. Verify insurance coverage and obtain required documentation. Collect patient copays, balances, and other applicable payments. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions or direct them to the appropriate department. Coordinate with providers, nurses, financial counselors, and laboratory staff to ensure seamless patient care. Keep providers informed of patient arrivals, delays, and schedule changes throughout the day. Process incoming documents and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Assist with patient flow and front desk operations to provide an outstanding patient experience. Support additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
