Lanham Ford & KIA, part of the DARCARS Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Lane Manager to lead our service drive operations and deliver the exceptional ownership experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead the daily operations of the service lane, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from vehicle check-in through delivery.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Service Advisors to maximize performance, customer satisfaction, and sales effectiveness.
• Drive key service lane performance metrics, including:
  • Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI)
  • Repair order growth
  • Sales per repair order
  • Customer retention
  • Appointment conversion and scheduling efficiency
• Ensure customers receive accurate repair recommendations, timely communication, and transparent service updates.
• Assist with resolving customer concerns professionally while maintaining the premium ownership experience Volvo customers expect.
• Monitor service lane workflow and partner closely with shop foremen, technicians, and the Parts Department to improve efficiency and vehicle throughput.
• Support advisor hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance coaching.
• Maintain compliance with manufacturer policies, dealership procedures, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Foster strong collaboration between the Service, Parts, and Sales teams to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive dealership experience in a Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager, or Service Lane Manager role.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a dealership service department preferred.
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, repair order sales, and advisor performance.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience with dealership management systems and service performance metrics.
• Luxury automotive experience preferred.
• Volvo experience is a plus.
