Title
Travel RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Schedule
- Patient Ratios: Days 4:1, Nights 5:1, Weekends 5:1

Assignment Details
- Unit Size: 77-bed NICU (average census ~50)
- Orientation: 24 hours


Requirements
- Minimum 3 years recent NICU experience
- BLS Certification
- Experience in ventilator management (CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators)
- Central/PICC line care
- Blood/blood product administration
- Cardioversion/defibrillation
- Feeding tubes, syringe pumps, cooling/warming devices
- No ECMO experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU.
- Monitor patients closely, documenting vital signs and observing for any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centric care.
- Support families in understanding care plans and addressing their concerns.
- Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries as part of the care team.

Compliance / Notes
- Must be open to floating to different campuses, with rare instances of floating to pediatrics or special care nursery.
- Previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.
- Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required during compliance.
