Growing together.The Cardiac Sonographer performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in the evaluation and diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions. This role is responsible for obtaining high-quality cardiac images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.Location: 2901 Transport St., AlbuquerquePrimary Responsibilities:Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and Dobutamine Stress Echo proceduresObtain high-quality diagnostic images of cardiac structures and functionPrepare and position patients, review medical history, and explain proceduresMonitor patients during testing and communicate urgent findings to the physicianDocument exam results and maintain accurate patient recordsPerform quality control checks and ensure proper operation of ultrasound equipmentCollaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsFollow departmental policies, accreditation standards, and safety regulationsComplete required training and perform other duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Ultrasound, or Cardiovascular Technology program.ARDMS eligible or equivalent credentialing status.Current BLS certification.1+ years of healthcare, hospital, or clinical experience.Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.Basic computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and/or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.Experience performing echocardiography procedures in a hospital or cardiology setting.Proven solid communication and organizational skills.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 - $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
