About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Operations for its colocation data centers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the strategic and day-to-day management of the facilities, ensuring the highest standards of reliability, security, and service delivery. Key responsibilities include providing operational leadership, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. The role also involves overseeing facility management, service delivery, financial management, and risk management, as well as team development and management. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' experience in data center operations management. The role requires a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, as well as experience in P&L management and vendor negotiations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in driving continuous improvement and innovation. Certifications in data center design or management are highly desirable, and the candidate should possess strong project management skills.
