About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead the marketing strategy for a peer-to-peer betting exchange. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end marketing story, from brand to demand to community, and will play a key role in the go-to-market strategy for the upcoming launch. This includes defining brand positioning, educating the market on the benefits of exchange trading, and building a marketing organization that spans various functions such as growth, CRM, retention, social and community, PR, and content. The CMO will also be tasked with ensuring that all marketing campaigns comply with legal and regulatory standards, particularly those set by the CFTC, and will be expected to have a strong understanding of the sports betting regulatory landscape. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a minimum of 10-12 years' of progressive marketing leadership experience, with a focus on sports betting, DFS, crypto, fintech, or sports media. A proven track record in launching consumer products and scaling them in high-growth or regulated environments is essential. The role requires deep domain expertise in sports culture, market dynamics, derivatives and trading concepts, and a strong understanding of the sports betting regulatory landscape. The ideal candidate will be regulatory savvy, with experience navigating complex legal boundaries, and possess exceptional storytelling and communication skills. A Master's degree or MBA in business, marketing, or finance is preferred.
