Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (ENT / Surgical Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on a surgical unit specializing in ENT, general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery
• Care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies, including airway management and post-operative monitoring
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience as a skilled surgical RN
• Experience caring for ENT patients, including those with tracheostomies and laryngectomies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in general surgery, bariatric surgery, or head and neck surgery nursing
• Familiarity with post-operative care protocols in a high-acuity surgical setting
