C++ Developer with Capital Markets

We're looking for a Senior C++ Developer with deep capital markets experience to work on a risk reporting platform for Global Equity Derivatives. The ideal candidate brings strong systems development skills, production support experience, and the ability to contribute across pricing infrastructure, workflow automation, and DevOps improvement in a fast-paced trading environment.
What you'll do
- Participate in the design and development of tools and applications supporting pricing infrastructure and related business areas
- Revamp existing technology to improve scalability, efficiency, and performance
- Profile and optimize system performance across the risk reporting platform
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and production support documentation and tooling
- Support debugging and troubleshooting of system and software deficiencies
- Proactively identify system deficiencies, engage technical and business partners, and develop corrective solutions
- Review business requirements and contribute to functional specifications, system impact assessments, and technology dependency documentation
- Assist with user adoption including training, release notes, and release task execution
- Provide regular status updates to local and global management
- Assist with technology updates and platform modernization efforts
What you bring
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in capital markets software development
- 8+ years of professional C++ development experience
- Proficiency in multithreaded programming
- Proficiency in Oracle and Python
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and web service development or consumption
- Experience with JSON and XML
- Experience with DevOps pipelines and supporting production environments
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Eligibility for a mandatory background check

- Experience with Sophis
- Experience with equity derivative products
- Background in risk reporting systems
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
