Position Summary PRN, Experience in Acute and Emergency Room Required Location: Virginia Gay Hospital, 502 N 9th Ave, Vinton, IA, 52349 We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at Virginia Gay Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients with respiratory disorders. This includes assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and educating patients on respiratory health. Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders Develop and implement respiratory care plans Administer respiratory treatments and therapies Monitor and record patient progress Collaborate with healthcare team members Educate patients and their families on respiratory care Required Qualifications Valid RRT or CRT Certification Must have Iowa Licensure, ACLS and BLS PALS required within 6 months of hire Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist Knowledge of respiratory care equipment and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work day shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr Virginia Gay Hospital, Clinics, Home Health, Nursing & Rehab
