Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery
Location: West Bend, WI 53095
Duration: 06/15/2026 - 09/17/2026
Shift: Nights (7:30 PM-7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3 days/week, 12 hrs/day, 36 hrs/week; weekends required
Pay Range: $72-$76/hr.
Schedule Notes:
  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Mother/Baby experience required
  • Antepartum experience preferred
  • Weekends required
  • No on-call
  • Hospital-provided scrubs

Required Skills & Experience
  • Clinical competence in Labor & Delivery nursing
  • Experience caring for and managing obstetric patient populations
  • Mother/Baby experience required
  • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an inpatient setting
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Antepartum experience
Education

Required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN)
Preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Required Certifications & Licensure
  • Active Wisconsin RN License or Multistate Compact RN License (NLC)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Required Upon Hire
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification through NCC within 18 months of hire
Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients in an inpatient Labor & Delivery environment. Delivers safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
  • Provide care and education to mothers and newborns
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Deliver safe, quality patient care while adhering to professional nursing standards
