Position Overview

Body Balance Rehab is seeking dedicated Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapists to join our team in Lancaster, California. This role is vital in providing personalized care to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Physical Therapists will work onsite in our outpatient office, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to therapy that includes speech, occupational, and applied behavior analysis therapies.

Work Environment

This position is located in our dynamic outpatient facility in Lancaster, California, where Physical Therapists collaborate in a supportive environment focused on teamwork and patient-centered care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, promoting a balanced work-life integration for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Body Balance Rehab, your primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for children and adults, assessing their functional abilities and establishing baseline measurements.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient preferences, focusing on maximizing functional independence.
• Regularly reassessing patients to evaluate clinical signs and symptoms, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress toward rehabilitation goals.
• Documenting all patient interactions meticulously, including SOAP notes, progress summaries, and care plans, using our electronic health record system within designated timeframes.
• Providing education and guidance to patients and their families about the recovery process, potential challenges, and proactive strategies to foster engagement and compliance.
• Meeting or exceeding utilization goals and other business objectives to contribute to the overall success of the practice.
• Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to integrate therapy services for patients requiring multiple therapies, ensuring cohesive treatment planning.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this position:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted licensure in California by the Board of Physical Therapy.
• A willingness to perform evaluations and treatments in-person and via telehealth, when clinically appropriate.
• A demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing excellent patient service.

Preferred Experience

While specific experience may vary, candidates with a strong background in outpatient therapy settings, especially pediatrics, will be preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and previous telehealth experience will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
