BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for an Analytical Chemist I to work for an Orange County area testing company.
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Contract : 3-6+ months with potential to convert to FTE depending on performance and headcount
Responsibilities:
- Daily calibrations, qualifications, and glassware maintenance.
- Ensuring general laboratory housekeeping and safety standards are met.
- Chemical waste disposal aligned with safe and best industry practices and SOPs.
- Prepares solutions and mobile phases to support analytical testing.
- Prepares samples for analytical testing.
- Perform routine HPLC/UPLC testing
- Completes daily data interpretation on Chromatographic Data Systems, as well as maintains clear, concise and timely notebook/work instructions record keeping per current cGLP policy
Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related discipline
- 2-5+ years of experience as an HPLC Chemist
- Experience running analytical chemistry methods on HPLC systems for dietary and/or botanical supplement samples
- Experience with quality systems is a plus
