Jr. Data EngineerExperience working with general industry modelsImplementing universal modeling patterns, selective levels of abstraction, and enforcing business rules to ensure data qualitySkilled in normalization and selective de-normalization of physical modelsFamiliar with Inmon and Kimball design strategiesProfile data ingestion requirements from SORs, Data Lakes or Data WarehousesUnderstand optimal data ingestion patternsStructure conceptual, logical, and physical modelsConfigure Azure SQL or PostgreSQL tables, views, indexes, etc.Strong communication skillsExperience with large size corporationsExperience with use case analysisExperience with normalization and the skill to selectively de-normalizeProgramming Skills:Strong SQL SkillsNoSQLData Structures (XML, JSON, RDBMS, Paquet)Delta LakeAzure Data Factory (nice to have)CI/CD Pipelines (nice to have)Synapse (nice to have)Python (nice to have)Ansible (nice to have)Databricks (nice to have)This position will require someone to already be in Houston, Texas.
