Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part scans
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly communicating each process with kindness and care
• Collaborate extensively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic results
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging machinery, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient information within the electronic medical records system
• Keep up to date with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
