Job Summary This full‑time, permanent position delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor‑trailers) that require a CDL class A license. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated are subject to change depending on business needs. The role includes a competitive hourly wage and a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company‑matching 401(k) plan. Qualifications – Required High school diploma or GED equivalent Current/valid class A CDL license Driving record that meets or exceeds company‑qualifying standards Minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to the one you will operate Qualifications – Preferred Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Must be able to drive in stressful environments Unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers/iceboxes Required to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day Required to work in all weather conditions, including weekend, night, and holiday work Frequent driving between retail stores and plant location; overtime may be required Work conducted in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment Location Waco, Texas Company Description Reddy Ice manufactures and distributes approximately 1.8 million tons of ice annually to a broad and diversified customer base.
